Shake: Add vodka, lime juice, and syrup to a cocktail shaker, and shake with ice.
Strain: Pour into a glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel.

Put a handful of ice into a large cocktail shaker. Pour 125ml tomato juice, 50ml vodka, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 25ml sweet sherry into the shaker then add ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce, a few drops of hot sauce and a pinch each of salt, black pepper, celery salt and fennel seeds. Shake hard then strain into a tall glass with ice and garnish with a celery stick, lemon wedge and a cherry tomato.
 
Cosmopolitan
Vodka is an ideal base for light fruit flavors. No cocktail plays this up as well as the cosmopolitan. It is that pretty-in-pink, fruity cocktail made with vodka, cranberry and lime juices, and a high-end orange liqueur. Affectionately called the "cosmo," you can adapt it to suit your taste. Some prefer it sweet and pour more cranberry, while others like just a splash for color. It's fantastic either way.
 
Apple Martini

Ingredients
 
8-10 blueberries
2 oz Long Island Vodka
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
1-2 oz Oregon Pinot Noir
 
Instructions
Muddle fresh blueberries at the bottom of a double old fashioned glass and top with ice. Add vodka, lemon, and simple syrup to a mixing glass and shake vigorously. Strain over ice and blueberries. Pour wine over a spoon to create a red wine "float."
